This ended up being SUPER relevant tonight! After the live stream finished I headed off to my very low key Bible study and a conversation on salt/light drifted into evangelism, our own failures in this regard, how we should be better at talking about our faith, “what is our church doing wrong??” (🤷♀️ 1000 things and also nothing, right?), and finally whether it’s okay for different churches to have different…niches…demographics…that they aim for/appeal to. Not that everyone isn’t welcome, but perhaps the personality of the congregation just serves certain persons better than others, and is that maybe okay? Not sure everyone is sold, but it was a real conversation that got everyone thinking!
