Thanks for sharing my post, Fr. Cathie! I look forward to perusing your other recommendations. It's been so fun to connect with other similar writers on Substack.

I always look for this post and the new additions to my reading list. Thanks for taking the time to do this. And what a nice bonus to see that passage from my post. You’re very kind. One of these days I would enjoy a discussion with you about being church in new ways. We’re trying some new stuff. We’ll see how it goes

thank you!!

I so appreciate your support and feedback. I'm a huge fan of your writing, and your spiritual leadership.

I would *love* to talk more with you. I've been gradually rolling out some more structured ways of thinking about ministry reimagination. The next big project: a kind of 'bite-sized' consulting about what changes we can make as clergy/congregations/denominations towards 'cage free' ministry and 'unstuck church'.

One thing I've come to realize is that many of those who need help the most do not have the resources to afford big programs or more staff. that's one of the reasons they're stuck! - fewer resources available to create the kind of new things they need.

stay tuned!

but I'm always happy to chat with you: frcathie@freerangepriest.org

I’ll take you up on that chat soon. In the meantime, I’ll just say that I had two creative meetings yesterday around reimagining and restructuring congregational life as well as identifying some resources to fund that. Like I said, we’ll see how that goes.
