Splendid telling of splendid story. May we all find such coherence in connecting the dots of our love lives, attunement with love's Source..where and however the dots lead.

First 40 years: marriage functions as a successful educational corporation with respect and hard work but without the core of love. However, adoption of identical twin girls and blessings of parenthood. No important regrets; I’d do it all over again to be the Dad to those two miracles. Last 20 years: married, in total love, to my dear wife. Perfection? Nope. God favored us with love together, nurtured us with forgiveness, and gave us plenty to do.

love this. being in total love - that is perfection to me. is it always easy? No. But it's always the most amazing, cherished gift.

Hello, Cathie! I'm a brand new subscriber, and am delighted to find someone else who has walked the difficult path of divorce and remarriage as an ordained priest! While some details differ, of course, your story could be mine. My new love turned out to be an ordained pastor in a different denomination, and we met and fell in love 25 years ago, but otherwise... yeah, finding out that love is real and is freely given completely changes one's relationship with God. I'm so happy for you, and looking forward to reading more of your posts.
