Bootcamp Schedule

All sessions will meet via Zoom and be recorded and available for reference

  • Monday: What is your ministry?
Let's talk about who you want to reach with digital ministry, and how. Do you want your own parishioners to see their familiar building and people online? Or do you want a snippet of your sermon delivered far and wide?
It makes a difference in how you choose your digital (and in-person) tools.

  • Tuesday: In-person, Digital, a little of both
You can live stream your in-person worship service, but you don't have to! You can have fully in-person worship and fully online worship, dedicated to each, and it's not even extra work! It's the same with your other ministry: a little of each, a mixture of both, find out what's best for you.

  • Wednesday: Digital IS Ministry
It's not just about getting someone else to set up a new AV system, or design a new website. Digital ministry - like in-person ministry - is making the space your in holy and inviting (whether it's digital or actual space) and using the tools in front of you to share more
    Good News with more people

  • Thursday: Email and smartphones
The best tech tools are the ones you already use and feel comfortable with! Find the easiest, cheapest, least challenging ways to engage in hybrid ministry

  • Friday: Zoom and Facebook
We're tired of them! Some people won't use them. But they're still the most popular, least expensive ways to connect virtually. Learn some new features to make hybrid ministry a regular part of your evangelism and formation.

Fr. Cathie led online workshops for 50 of our parishes. Rather than just putting a camera in the center aisle to stream worship, she encouraged us to think about translating our worship to take advantage of the strengths of online technology.

Everything she talks about is practical, inexpensive, and encouraging, and her own upbeat personality makes the experience fun.

As I told her afterward, it was "better than I knew to hope for." Strongly recommended.

The Rev. Brad Purdom, Canon for Congregations, The Episcopal Diocese of Ohio

Very supportive, engaging and thoughtful. I appreciated her kindness to students and passion for sharing the love of Christ as well as tools of digital ministry.
