Truly Part-time Ministry Bootcamp

All sessions will meet via Zoom and be recorded and available for reference

  • Monday: Part-time is two Sundays a month! Let's talk about why, and how to make it happen.
  • Tuesday: Clergy on task-based contract. We all know full-time ministry doesn't scale. Learn to focus on what you're doing, not how many hours you're working.
  • Wednesday: Be a 'clergy consultant' with the congregation you already serve. Don't do 'everything' - support others in their ministry.
  • Thursday: Digital and in-person ministry. Make it half the work instead of twice the work!
  • Friday: How to serve in multiple places without being overwhelmed.

Fr. Cathie led online workshops for 50 of our parishes. Rather than just putting a camera in the center aisle to stream worship, she encouraged us to think about translating our worship to take advantage of the strengths of online technology.

Everything she talks about is practical, inexpensive, and encouraging, and her own upbeat personality makes the experience fun.

As I told her afterward, it was "better than I knew to hope for." Strongly recommended.

The Rev. Brad Purdom, Canon for Congregations, The Episcopal Diocese of Ohio

Very supportive, engaging and thoughtful. I appreciated her kindness to students and passion for sharing the love of Christ as well as tools of digital ministry.
